Crossing College is the educational institution of The Crossing, a multi-campus church in the Tampa Bay area with a 20-year history of equipping people for Kingdom impact. We exist to take the mission of the local church seriously, which means investing deeply in the people who carry it.
We combine academic rigor with Spirit-filled expectancy. We measure success not by enrollment numbers but by the transformation of every student who chooses to grow with us, whether they're in Tampa or across the country.
Two schools. One journey. One direction: forward. The School of Biblical Studies builds the foundation through rigorous online biblical education. The School of Supernatural Ministry activates the calling through in-person, Spirit-led training. Together, they form the most comprehensive ministry formation credential a local church can offer.
Our Story
"Since 2016, The Crossing has carried a singular vision: to equip the men and women of God with the values, knowledge, and skills to impact communities from across the street to around the world."
Crossing College is the formal expression of that mission in education. We've walked with students through their first biblical text, their first prophetic activation, and the moment they realize, for the first time, who God made them to be.
We know who walks through our doors. Parents with small children who want to model a serious faith before their kids. Professionals squeezing every spare hour into something that actually matters. New believers who have felt the hunger since day one but didn't know where to take it. Ministry servants who have been showing up faithfully and are ready to go deeper.
Crossing College is for all of them. And our vision is to serve 1,000 students per semester, drawing believers from our Tampa Bay campuses, across the country, and around the world through our online programs.
What We Believe
Our Five Core Values
Crossing College is an institution of The Crossing Church. Everything we do, every course, every student, every credential, flows from these five convictions, anchored in Ephesians 4.
(Ephesians 4:2) Great education is built on the posture of a learner, and great ministry on the posture of a servant. We teach and we lead from humility, students, faculty, and staff alike. The more a person grows in knowledge or responsibility here, the more servant-heartedness we expect, not less.
(Ephesians 4:3) We pursue real unity, inside the classroom, across our two schools, and with the local and global church. Relationships and people supersede policies and preferences. Our classes, discussion boards, and in-person sessions are built so students don't grow alone.
(Ephesians 4:13–16) We exist so that believers no longer stay spiritual infants. Every course is designed to move students from milk to meat, toward maturity in the Word, in spiritual formation, in character, and in practical ministry. Growth is the point.
(Ephesians 4:11–12) We equip the saints for works of service under the authority of Scripture and the covering of the local church. We don't train lone-ranger ministers, we train students who honor delegated authority and operate inside healthy accountability structures.
(Ephesians 4:1) Excellence, not perfection, in every course, every grade, every conversation with a student. We measure success by the students we form, not the enrollments we count. World-class biblical education should be within reach of every person God calls, and it should be worthy of the calling they've received.
